BT04-QK Standard with Lock ($94.95): Same elevation range as BT01-QK, adds a positive locking mechanism that prevents unwanted height change under recoil. Good choice for harder-recoiling rifles or anyone who wants to set-and-forget rear elevation.
BT05-QK Mid ($99.95): Elevation 4.8 to 5.85 inches. The most popular height for standard hunting stocks, synthetic stocks, and most rifle families at prone. A strong first choice if you are unsure.

Mounting and compatibility
Sling-stud monopods thread directly onto a standard rear sling swivel stud. Installation takes under a minute:
Remove the existing sling swivel or stud if present (standard thread size).
Thread the monopod's sling-stud mount onto the stud, oriented so the foot points down when deployed.
Snug the attachment. No thread locker needed for most applications; add a drop for hard-recoiling magnums.
Fold the monopod forward against the stock for carry. Unfold and dial height with the QK quick-knob at prone.
The optional Tac-Cap (BT07, $9.95) threads onto the foot of any QK sling-stud model.
These models fit any stock with a standard rear sling stud. Not compatible with stocks that only have a rail at the rear (use PRM models for those).

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use a sling with the monopod installed?
The monopod replaces the rear sling swivel mounting point. A sling must attach at an alternate location, such as a forward stud or sling socket, if you want both. Some shooters use a sling adapter on the monopod itself.
Will the monopod slide or rotate under recoil?
The BT01-QK, BT05-QK, and BT06-QK use friction to hold elevation. For rifles with significant recoil, the BT04-QK adds a positive lock that holds the set height mechanically under recoil.
Does the monopod add snag when carrying?
No. All sling-stud models fold flat against the buttstock. The folded profile adds less than an inch of protrusion.
Standard vs mid: which should I pick for a hunting rifle?
For most wood and synthetic hunting stocks in a standard prone position, Mid (BT05-QK) is the safe choice. If your stock is unusually low or you always shoot from a bench, try Standard (BT01-QK).
