The V8 is the bipod that started it all. Released in 2008 and later selected for the SOCOM MK14 MOD 2, the BT10 series introduced patented features that competitors still have not replicated: five independent leg positions including the 45-degree angle, preloaded 30-degree pan and cant, and Hold What You Move Technology. It remains the default Atlas for most shooters and most rifles, covering bench rest, hunting, positional stages, and field use with equal confidence. The BT10-NC model Atlas Bipod is part of our V8 Series. The "NC" stands for "No Clamp," meaning it requires any 17S size mount in order to attach to a firearm. The interface to install a clamp has a two hole pattern of 1.100” with 10/32 threads. It will also mount directly to our BT19 AI Spigot or BT70 M-LOK® Adapter.

Mounting and Compatibility
The V8 fits any rifle with a 1913 Picatinny rail directly, using the included clamp or the ADM-170-S lever on LW17 models. The NC model requires a 17S-size mount with matching hole spacing. For M-LOK handguards, pair the BT10-NC with the BT70 M-LOK Adapter for a low-profile, semi-permanent connection. For ARCA rails, use an Area 419 ARCALOCK, ADM QD ARCA, RRS BTC-Pro, or Arisaka clamp on the NC model. For sling-stud forends, the BT81 adapter converts the stud to Picatinny for direct clamping.

What does the 45-degree leg position do?
The patented 45-degree leg position gives you a stable tripod-like stance on uneven terrain where 90-degree legs would slide. It is an Atlas-exclusive feature not available on competing bipods.
What is the difference between BT10, BT10-LW17, and BT10-NC?
All three are the same V8 bipod. The difference is only the mounting hardware included. BT10 includes a two-screw Picatinny clamp. BT10-LW17 includes the ADM-170-S quick-detach lever. BT10-NC ships without any clamp for use with ARCA, M-LOK, or your own mount.
Can I add an ADM-170-S lever to the 2-Screw model later?
Yes. The ADM-170-S lever is sold separately (SKU: ADM-170-S, $93.60) and is compatible with the V8 series.
Can I use the V8 on M-LOK handguards?
