American-Made Precision Rifle Bipods

5-H Series

The 5-H (BT35) is the bigger and heavier Atlas with both pan AND cant, designed for large-caliber rifles while remaining at home with every discipline including precision air rifles. Where the Super CAL is cant-only for pure ELR repeatability, the 5-H restores pan for shooters who need to swing onto multiple targets or adjust position in the field. It uses a custom ADM-5-H lever mount and is available with lever or No Clamp options. NSN 1005-01-708-8193. One of the heaviest and most stable Atlas platforms available.

5-H Atlas® Bipod

About the 5-H Series: Our answer to requests for a "bigger and heavier" support with same novel Atlas® Bipod features. With five independent leg positions – including the patented 45° leg position – it also has the ability to Pan and Cant with adjustable tension and capability to lock out the Pan feature OR both the Pan and Cant by adjusting the depth of the supplied lockout fastener. Designed to support larger caliber rifles while finding value with all disciplines to include precision air rifles. Made in the USA. The BT35-NC model Atlas Bipod is part of our 5-H Series. The “NC” stands for “No Clamp,” meaning it requires a *compatible 17S size mount in order to attach to a firearm. The interface to install a clamp has a two hole pattern of 1.100” with 10/32 threads. It requires the ADM-5-H Lever (see BT35-LW17) or will mount directly to our BT19 AI Spigot or BT70 M-LOK® Adapter. *If planning for installation of another 17S size mount, the BT35-NC requires Area 419's ARCALOCK Spigot Extension for clearance of the cradle and operation of the clamp's knob/lever. Optional mounts that we currently offer and require the Extension can be found here: Atlas Bipod Clamps & Adapters

Which 5-H Configuration Is Right for You?

The 5-H comes in one height with two mount options.

  • Lever / LW17 (BT35-LW17): Ships with the custom ADM-5-H lever mount for tool-free Picatinny mounting. The lever on the 5-H is the ADM-5-H, not the standard ADM-170-S, because the 5-H cradle is larger. 27.5 oz. $504.95. NSN 1005-01-708-8193.
  • No Clamp / NC (BT35-NC): Ships without mount. Lightest option at 25.7 oz. $429.95. Requires 17S-size mount with matching hole spacing and clearance for the cradle and the mount knob or lever.

Default recommendation: BT35-LW17 for most users. The ADM-5-H lever is the natural pairing and makes deployment fast. Choose NC if you have a specific ARCA or custom mount and have confirmed clearance.

Mounting and Compatibility

The BT35-LW17 ships with the custom ADM-5-H lever mount and attaches directly to any 1913 Picatinny rail. The BT35-NC requires a 17S-size mount with matching hole spacing AND adequate clearance for the 5-H cradle and the mount knob or lever. The Area 419 ARCA Spigot Extension is noted as a useful fitment solution for NC 5-H setups on ARCA rails. For M-LOK handguards, the BT70 M-LOK Adapter works with the NC model. The ADM-5-H lever (SKU: ADM-5-H) is sold separately for shooters who want to add it to an NC purchase. Compatible feet include BT55 rubber, BT66 BAS Ski, and BT75 Raider Cleat, all sized for the 5-H and Super CAL leg diameter.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the 5-H and the Super CAL?

The Super CAL is a cant-only platform. No pan, so the bore stays perpendicular to the legs every deployment. Pure ELR repeatability. The 5-H adds pan back, giving you the ability to swing onto multiple targets or adjust lateral position in the field. Both have a wide footprint for large-caliber rifles, but the 5-H is the more flexible field tool and the Super CAL is the more precise ELR instrument.

Why does the 5-H use a different lever than other Atlas models?

The 5-H cradle is larger than the standard Atlas cradle. The custom ADM-5-H lever is sized specifically for the 5-H geometry. Standard ADM-170-S levers from V8, PSR, and CAL models do not fit the 5-H.

What does the NC model require for mounting?

The BT35-NC requires a 17S-size mount with matching hole spacing and must have clearance for the 5-H cradle and the mount's knob or lever. The Area 419 ARCA Spigot Extension is specifically noted in the catalog as a solution for ARCA setups.

Will the 5-H work for precision air rifles?

Yes. The 5-H is explicitly designed to work with precision air rifles in addition to large-caliber centerfire. Its footprint and pan-cant adjustment suit long-range air rifle competition.

What foot accessories fit the 5-H?

BT55 rubber feet (standard), BT66 BAS Ski Feet, and BT75 Raider Cleat Feet. All three are sized for the larger leg diameter of the 5-H and Super CAL. Standard Atlas rubber feet (BT32) do not fit.

What warranty covers the 5-H?

A no-fine-print lifetime warranty from B&T Industries.

Is the 5-H eligible for government purchase?

Yes. NSN 1005-01-708-8193 is assigned. Contact B&T Industries for procurement.
