American-Made Precision Rifle Bipods
Super CAL Series
The Super CAL (BT72) is the CAL built bigger, approximately 50 percent larger, for large-caliber rifles and heavy guns engaging targets at extreme distance. It delivers the same Cant And Loc design principle as the standard CAL, no pan, 63 degrees of adjustable preloaded cant, and non-rotating legs, but in a wider, heavier chassis that handles the recoil and mass of the largest practical precision rifle calibers. One configurable product, three mount options. If your gun is too big for the standard CAL or PSR, this is the Atlas for you.

Mounting and Compatibility
Super CAL models mount to 1913 Picatinny rails with the included clamp or the ADM-170-S lever on LW17 models. NC models require a 17S-size mount with matching hole spacing. For ARCA rails, use an Area 419 ARCALOCK clamp (note: the ARCA Spigot Extension may be needed for NC Super CAL models for clearance, as noted in catalog). For M-LOK handguards, the BT70 M-LOK Adapter works with NC Super CAL. The BT55 rubber feet and BT66/BT75 ski and cleat feet are the compatible foot accessories for the Super CAL and 5-H series.

Choosing within Super CAL Atlas Bipods comes down to a few key questions. We answer how the options compare, what fits your rifle, and warranty coverage below to help you decide.
Frequently Asked Questions
When should I choose the Super CAL over the standard CAL?
When your rifle is large enough in caliber or weight that the standard CAL footprint does not provide adequate stability. The Super CAL's 14.75-19.37 inch footprint and heavier chassis are designed for rifles that outgrow the standard-size Atlas. Common applications include large-caliber ELR competition and heavy chassis guns.
What is the difference between Super CAL and 5-H?
Both are large-footprint Atlas models. The Super CAL is the oversized CAL, meaning it has cant only with no pan, optimized for repeatable ELR shooting. The 5-H has both pan AND cant, which makes it more flexible for field shooting, hunting, and disciplines where you need to swing onto targets. The 5-H also uses a custom ADM-5-H lever.
Does the Super CAL come in FDE?
FDE is not currently offered on the Super CAL series. Check the site for any updates.
Can the Super CAL be used on M-LOK handguards?
Yes, using the BT72-NC with the BT70 M-LOK Adapter. Note that the larger footprint of the Super CAL may limit the handguard positions available.
What feet options fit the Super CAL?
The BT55 rubber feet are standard on the Super CAL and 5-H. Upgrade options include BT66 BAS Ski Feet and BT75 Raider Cleat Feet, both designed specifically for the Super CAL and 5-H size leg diameter.
What warranty covers the Super CAL?
A no-fine-print lifetime warranty from B&T Industries.
