Which Atlas bipods work with the BT81?
Any lever-mount (LW17) Atlas bipod with a Picatinny clamp: V8 LW17, PSR LW17, CAL LW17, and others. NC (No Clamp) bipods mount via a stud interface, not Picatinny, so they do not use the BT81 directly. For NC bipods on a sling-stud stock, the Accu-Shot Sling-Stud Monopod mounts to the same stud.
Does it replace the sling stud?
No. It threads onto the existing sling stud and uses the included hardware. The sling stud remains in place as the mounting anchor.
Can I still use a sling with the BT81 installed?
The BT81 occupies the sling stud position, so you cannot simultaneously use a standard stud-mount sling swivel at that location while the adapter is installed. A sling attached at the rear stud or a sling loop elsewhere on the stock is unaffected.
